The EPIC 3 Voice Amplifier utilizes custom voice correction filtering, audio amplification, and breath detection technologies to enhance SCBA voice communication intelligibility and loudness. An automatic shut-off feature deactivates the system 20 minutes after the last use to preserve battery life when the user forgets to turn off the device. An easy to recognize low battery alert warns the user when only 10% of battery life remains.
